entry: Hey, how's it going? I just watched Bourne Ultimatum today, is that movie INCREDIBLE or what! I should have used the time to study, but it was worth it. Btw, your Bourne rendering is looking great! Be waiting for the final version!

entry: Bourne's out late this month in Australia I think... The darkness character is actually the big one that looks more like a frame..It looks like this "闇" (you can't really see that typing can you, :s) Anyways, what did you say happened to the veritech???? Nooooo! Crap does happen. :( So you're doing Psych eh? Must be awesome! (Compared to my genetics major, gaaah!) Yeah, I agree with you on the entertainment factor of it, I guess (for me) if you're stuck just doing illustrations as your first option it'd be kinda dull. Lol, I just realized that I've been spamming your guestbook! Sorry!

entry: Indira~* Gotcha- makes total sense, is the dark character the one at the bottom left? And yes, Bourne as in Jason Bourne and I absolutely LOVE this trilogy as well- I've been reading the novels too and am hoping that they decide to produce the newest installment out this summer(after Ultimatum). They even have a game coming out that looks pretty dang cool. The purpose of my Bourne character was basically to study the Normal map features in Maya 8.5 and Mudbox. I basically want to get good at creating low poly characters that look very detailed and high poly but render fast (game type characters). My veritech fighter might not make- I think I lost it on my portable Hard drive so I might have to redo it- YUCK!- Oh, and Your welcome for the signing, it's nice to have someone to keep in touch with that has similar inspirations.

entry: Heya, is that Bourne as in Matt Damon's Bourne? Wow, I love that trilogy! I can't wait to see the latest one when it comes to Australia. I am SOO waiting to see the final render!

PS: Thanks for signing my guestbook! On "The Other Side of Me", the left character means "light", there's actually a big "darkness" char. there, but you can't really see it clearly. ^^

entry: Aw, you're too generous in rating my piece, lol. Thanks! ^_^ I probably won't be updating my cgportfolio for a while.... I'm currently working on a collaboration, plus practicing male anatomy (that I won't post here coz the guys I draw look gay :s), goodness it's really hard to draw male!! :( Oh yeah, study load won't make it any easier either *sigh*.

Meanwhile I'll practice structuring female face a lil better and hopefully getting to know machineries as well! I could learn a lot from your veritech images. I'll be watching your gallery! ^_^ Talk to u soon Carl.

entry: I highly recommend AKIRA, this is the one (aside from Robotech of course) that turned me onto anime in the first place- 3D is a pain, takes time to learn and there is no instant gratification- this is why I frequently revert to my other medium but mainly because I'm still a Noobie in the CG realm. By the way- with your style I'm sure you could get mecha down eventually- the graphic novel to Appleseed is the tool I used to get mecha somewhat down- it's half originality and the other half is imagination- and from the looks of things you've got plenty of both.

entry: Ah, Robotech, who's not familiar with that? However, not so much with Akira. :s I should probably get some enlightenment on it. Honestly I always envy people who do 3D, it does seem mighty complicated for my tiny brain to handle (oh, and I suck at drawing mecha too). T_T Btw, thanks for the praises, I just got a sudden energy boost from them. ^_^

Enjoy your week off, and I'll be waiting for your next post! Veritech fighter, hurrah!

entry: Indira Ischwara~ Commissions are nice and so is the freedom of being a hobbyist as I am as well. Are you familiar with the animes Robotech (not to insult as I'm sure you are) and Akira, I'm working on a 3D of a Veritech Fighter and Kaneda. Going to take a week off though to do some Oil Painting and Airbrushing. Well, I will definately keep an eye on your portfolio and website and FYI you have a great Commercial style and I imagine I'll be seeing your work either in a game, anime or Manga book-
